Tiro Personal Assistant
A single-user personal assistant that runs on its owner's own computer.
What it is
Tiro is a private, single-user software tool. Its owner runs it on their own machine, and it connects
to that same person's own Google account to help them stay organized: reading their calendar to build a
daily brief, drafting email replies in their own mailbox, and keeping track of household tasks in a
private database.
There is exactly one user. Tiro is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and processes no other
person's data.
How it handles data
- It runs locally on the owner's computer. There is no Tiro server and no third-party backend.
- It talks directly to Google's APIs over HTTPS using the owner's own OAuth credentials.
- Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored locally on the owner's machine, readable only by the owner.
- Google user data is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and
never used to train machine learning models.
- Access can be revoked at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google services used
- Gmail (read, send, and manage labels): to read messages the owner forwards to it and to send
replies and plans the owner approves.
- Google Calendar: to read the owner's calendar and add or move household events.
- Google Drive (read-only): to read documents the owner has placed in a folder shared with it.
- Google Sheets (read-only): to read spreadsheets the owner shares with it.
